Ziyad has over 30 years of experience in corporate finance, private equity and banking. He offers deep expertise in deal origination, investment structuring, and M&A advisory.

Before joining AFG Capital, he founded New Africa Advisors, where he conducted multiple M&A and corporate finance advisory mandates for Mauritian and African clients. At Rogers Group (2011–2016), he led strategic initiatives including divestitures, private equity entry and the creation of Rogers Capital, the financial services arm of the Group. At MCB Capital Partners (2006–2011), he managed investments in France, Réunion and Madagascar. His leadership helped pioneer organic prawn farming protocols in Europe. Ziyad brings a unique perspective to corporate finance and M&A transactions across diverse sectors.

Nitisha is a seasoned legal and compliance professional with over 15 years’ experience, primarily in financial services. She is Head of Legal and Compliance at AFG Capital Ltd, also serving as registered Compliance Officer and MLRO, approved by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) Mauritius.
Nitisha leads legal and regulatory functions, ensuring compliance with evolving requirements. Previously, she held senior compliance roles at FSC-licensed firms and gained supervisory experience at the FSC. Her early career in the UK under solicitors broadened her legal expertise.
Nitisha combines strategic regulatory insight with operational execution, making her a trusted advisor in compliance and AML.

Faredine is a seasoned finance professional with 16 years’ experience in trading, market analysis and investment strategy. He joined AFG Capital after over a decade in Switzerland’s financial sector, where he managed a U.S. equity fund exceeding USD 100 million and served on investment committees, where he helped shape market strategies and asset allocation decisions.
Faredine is known for his market insight, idea generation as well as his ability to drive operational efficiency and client engagement. He brings a strategic, analytical approach to investment execution, thriving in fast-paced, complex financial environments.

Sevin is a corporate finance expert with over 10 years’ experience in business valuation, due diligence, M&A and financial modelling across Africa, Asia and Europe. He joined AFG Capital in January 2025 as Corporate Finance Executive and now leads its licensed advisory business.
Previously, he held senior roles at Ernst & Young Mauritius, Atwell in Luxembourg, and Mauritius Commercial Bank. Sevin has advised private equity firms and oil & gas players on complex cross-border debt structuring. His international exposure and multidisciplinary background enable him to deliver strategic, value-driven financial solutions with a pragmatic, analytical approach focused on execution excellence.

Crystele Martial, ACSI, is a qualified financial services professional with over 20 years’ experience, including more than a decade in wealth and investment advisory. She specialises in portfolio construction, asset allocation and cross-border wealth management for high-net-worth individuals, athletes, entrepreneurs, institutions and pension funds.
 
Before joining AFG Capital, she held senior roles at AXYS Investment Partners and worked with institutions like MCB, Vasco Mascareignes and Stratalis Ltd. Since November 2024, she has led AFG Capital’s Investment Advisory business, delivering tailored strategies and insights. An Associate Member of CISI, Crystele combines technical expertise with a client-first, relationship-driven approach to long-term value creation.
